Prices on the website are given in euros and do not include VAT. All prices include the cost of insurance (with an excess of €300) but not do include shipping.
Prices are correct except for any typographical or printing errors. Catalogues, prices and other information are only used by Aclam Foto to give an indication of the cost and range of products on offer and, consequently, Aclam Foto shall not be bound by any price, description or specification contained in them.
The provision of a quote (either requested online or by email) shall in no way imply the booking of equipment unless specified as such by Aclam Foto and accepted by the client in writing. Quotes will be valid for a period of 15 days from the date of issue.
If the hire equipment is to be used outside the Country this must be specified in the comments section of the quote (insurance may not be included outside the country).
2.2. EQUIPMENT BOOKINGS
To make a booking, the client must send the quote (this implies acceptance of the quote), specifying their desired hire dates so that availability of the equipment can be checked. Once availability has been confirmed, a booking email will be sent stating the price of the security deposit and the collection and return times. For a booking to be confirmed, the client must respond to this email confirming acceptance of the booking.
Once the booking has been confirmed by both parties, the client is able to cancel or make any necessary amendments up to 24 hours before the start of the hire period, without incurring any financial penalty, by writing to firstname.lastname@example.org. After 24 hours, Aclam Foto can claim the price of the first day of the hire period and up to 50% of the total price for any damages or losses the cancellation may cause.
Equipment must be collected from our offices at Calle Consell de Cent 201, bajos, 08011, Barcelona, at the agreed collection time (unless otherwise agreed in writing).
At the time of collection (specified in the booking), you must identify yourself with valid ID (DNI) or your passport and pay the agreed rental cost and security deposit. All payments must be made by credit or debit card or, in special cases arranged in advance, in cash.
If the equipment is to be collected by someone not specified in the booking, the client must inform Aclam Foto as such by email. Likewise, this person must identify him or herself to Aclam Foto staff with valid ID.
The equipment is checked and fine-tuned by our team, which the client confirms by signing the contract attached to the delivery note. At the time of collection, the client will be able to check the condition is as stated. It shall be the client’s responsibility if this inspection is not made.
No claims shall be accepted once the equipment leaves our premises and the delivery note and corresponding contract have been signed. Aclam Foto is not liable for any external incident that may affect the final outcome of the work.
2.4. SHIPPING OF THE EQUIPMENT
Shipping costs are not included in the equipment prices.
To request the equipment be shipped, please ask for specific terms by sending an email to email@example.com.
When equipment is to be shipped, the rental cost and security deposit must be paid by bank transfer (cash is not accepted) within a sufficient number of days (before collection of the equipment) so that Aclam Foto can verify the transfer has been made.
We remind you that it is the responsibility of the client to check the equipment within the first hour of receiving the package (time marked by the MRW delivery note). Any incident or claim must be notified by telephone and in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org. After this time period, the client shall be deemed as having accepted the equipment and it to be in perfect working order.
When returning the equipment, the client must use the same box or case used by Aclam Foto for delivery, which must be closed correctly with the padlocks attached (using the same combination as given by Aclam Foto). Failure to do so by the client will forfeit any kind of transportation insurance coverage the equipment may have.
2.5. RETURNING THE EQUIPMENT
The equipment must be returned as per the schedule agreed in the delivery note. Aclam Foto reserves the right to charge up to one extra day of the rental cost in the event that the equipment is returned after the agreed time. The client shall pay any compensation (for losses to third parties, other clients, etc. and the potential loss of profits) if the equipment is not returned on the agreed day.
At the time of the return, 100% of the deposit will be reimbursed provided that all the equipment specified in the corresponding delivery note is in perfect condition. Llevinac, S.L. reserves the right to refund the deposit up to 24 business hours after the equipment has been returned.
Once Aclam Foto has refunded the deposit, it can take between 1 and 10 days for the bank to make the transfer, during which time Aclam Foto is exempt of all liability.
3. STUDIO SPACES
3.1. BOOKING OF STUDIO SPACES
To book one of the studio spaces owned by Llevinac S.L. a request must be made in writing to email@example.com and this must be answered and confirmed by Aclam Foto in writing.
All the equipment included in the rental cost shall be specified in an email from the Aclam Foto team to the client. Any extra hire equipment required will be eligible for a 25% discount on the prices given on the website. Technical assistance from Aclam Foto’s staff is not included in the rental cost, under any circumstances.
Consumption of electricity and water shall be charged separately.
3.2. ENTERING THE STUDIO SPACE
On entering any of the hire spaces the client must pay the agreed rental cost and security deposit or, if previously agreed in writing, leave a credit card as a deposit or provide credit card details as a guarantee of payment.
On entering the studio space (times and dates specified in the booking), the client can inspect the condition of the place. Any problems or defects must be reported to the Aclam Foto team within one hour of entering the studio space. After that time, any damage caused to the premises shall be the responsibility of the client.
3.3. STUDIO SPACE REGULATIONS
The rental cost includes the use of the studio space as well as other areas such as the kitchen, bathroom and dressing rooms.
Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the studio as is the use of any equipment within the premises that may create smoke, unless previously agreed.
If a cyclorama is used, protection must always be used (provided by Aclam Foto) in order to be able to walk around the cyclorama area. The area and curve of the cyclorama are not covered by insurance, which is why any damage caused may carry a financial penalty equivalent to the cost of its entire repair.
The studio spaces are intended for photographic or video purposes and must not be used for any other activity at any time, without prior consent.
Any damage caused to the studio space or to the items within them during the hire of the facilities will be the responsibility of the client.
3.4. VACATING THE STUDIO SPACE
Once the hire period specified in the booking has elapsed, any extra time that passes shall be charged as overtime.
Once the studio space has been vacated, Aclam Foto reserves up to 24 business hours from the time of departure in order to inspect the studio and hire equipment and, if everything is in the same condition as it was provided, the deposit will be returned and the full rental cost will be charged.
Our insurance only covers the risk of the hire equipment specified in the delivery note in the event of damage, breakdown or theft, with an excess of €300 per contract. Where applicable, the client shall be obliged to provide all the necessary documentation as proof of the alleged facts. In any event, the excess shall be charged to the client.
Insurance is included in our prices provided the equipment is used within the country.
Aclam Foto has full ownership of all the hire equipment and facilities. They must not be pawned, used as securities, sold, transferred, sublet or pledged, or disposed of in any other way.
Aclam Foto shall not be liable for any accidents or damages that may be caused to third parties as a result of the use of the hire equipment or facilities, whatever the cause.
Aclam Foto shall endeavour to replace any equipment that is not delivered in perfect condition, however, Aclam Foto is not liable for any damages that this may cause the client.
6. CANCELLATION AND SCHEDULING
All rental requests may be cancelled up to 24 hours prior to commencement of the rental period. ACLAM must be notified in writing of the cancellation via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If ACLAM is notified of the cancellation less than 24 hours prior to commencement of the rental period, it shall charge UP TO 50% of the total agreed cost as compensation for the cancellation or rescheduling. If payments have already been made, the Client expressly authorises ACLAM to retain the sum corresponding to compensation for cancellation or rescheduling.
